There are a few things we want you to know about before you get started writting your heart out:

1. Once you post it on our sites, it's ours and you are granting us permission to do whatever we like with it in perpetuity throughout the known universe. Also the unknown universe. Including republishing it later in other formats and stuff. It's still yours too, so you can do whatever you want with it as well.
2. The internet never forgets. Chances are whatever you write will be online forever in one form or another, so think twice before you click "Submit" or "Publish." Don't write something you won't want attributed to you next week, or next year.
3. If we love your comments, we may ask you to join us as a writer for the site. Similarly if you are a jerk and do nothing but cause trouble, we might kick you off.
4. You are responsible for whatever you write, and we aren't responsible for anything you write.
5. Metblogs and Metroblogging are registered trademarks and we own them.
6. Kittens are damn cute.
